    Beginning in July 2009,  Integrated Amrita Meditation Technique (IAM Technique) began being taught at the Sri Sankara College of Arts & Science in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, a branch of the Sri Sankara Vishwa Mahavidyalaya, the university managed by Kanchi Kamakoti Math.
