Amma is a Gift of God

Amma in Mangalore
Amma held two days of programs at the Mangalore Brahmasthanam Temple. In addition to the regular programmes of satsang, bhajan, darshan and puja, Amma personally distributed sewing machines, educational scholarships and lifetime monthly pensions as part of her ever-expanding charitable projects.

MAM Extends Educational Programs
On the first night of Amma’s programs at her ashram in Tiruvanantapuram, the Mata Amritanandamayi Math (MAM) furthered its commitment to education. Vidyamritam Scholarships were given to 180 children of Tiruvanatapuram District, and MAM inaugurated its new arts-and-crafts school, Amrita Shilpa Kalakshetra.
