At 7 am today at the Kalari, an idol of Ganesha made out of mud was installed after special pujas.
The idol at Kalari will be kept there for few days with special pujas and evening bhajans before its will be immersed in the ocean.
After the installation, a Gaja puja was performed at the Darshan hall honoring the ashram elephant Lakshmi.
The concept that the Creation and Creator is not two, but one is the idea behind the worship of the elephant as God.
