3–4 June 2026, Thrissur Brahmasthanam – Bharata Yatra 2026
Despite the onset of the monsoon, large crowds gathered for Amma’s programmes at the Thrissur Brahmasthanam during her Bharata Yatra.
In her satsang, Amma spoke about gratitude as the foundation of our lives. She reminded devotees that we are deeply indebted to the world and all its beings, which have nurtured our growth and brought us to where we are today.
“The Earth is our Mother. Nature is our Mother. We must never forget our duty to Her, just as we never turn a deaf ear to the cries of our brothers and sisters,” said Amma.
“Showing compassion to those in need does not require offering them wealth or high status in society. Rather, we should do our utmost to ease their suffering in whatever way we can. A kind word, a compassionate glance, or a simple favour can bring immense light into their lives, and into our own.”
The two days in Thrissur were filled with bhajans, meditation and Amma’s tireless darshan, which continued into the early hours of the morning as Amma embraced each person who had come to meet her.
Many distinguished guests were also present to welcome Amma to Thrissur.
“It is a great blessing as Thrissur’s MP to be able to welcome Amma to this land. Her footsteps have sanctified our soil,” said Sri Suresh Gopi, Union Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Tourism.
“Amma is an ocean of joy and compassion—let us each become a single drop and dissolve into it,” expressed Dr Mohanan Kunnummal, Vice Chancellor of Kerala University of Health Sciences and Kerala University.
“Amma is a river of flowing energy,” said Smt Shobha Surendran, BJP General Secretary for Keralam. “Even the Prime Minister of our country draws inspiration from her words. It is for us to receive and live by her teachings.”
Children from Amrita Vidyalayam presented a variety of cultural dances and programmes during Amma’s darshan.
At the end of the darshan, Amma danced to the tune of folk music, bringing the two-day programme to a joyful close at 2:45 a.m.
Amma then proceeded to Kochi, the final stop of her Bharata Yatra.
