His Excellency M. Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to India, visited Amritapuri Ashram and had a private audience with Amma. He was accompanied by his spouse, embassy officials, and M. Etienne Rolland-Piègue, the Consul General of France in Pondicherry.
During the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the French Embassy and Amrita Hospital, Faridabad. The MoU lays the foundation for collaborations in the fields of health, education, and social outreach between the Embassy and Amrita institutions.
The Ambassador also met with French nationals residing at the Ashram and expressed his admiration and appreciation for their dedication and contributions. He showed a keen interest in the Ashram’s humanitarian and spiritual initiatives.
