8-9 Feb, Bharata Yatra 2025 – Thiruvananthapuram Brahmasthanam Festival
Amma commenced Bharata Yatra 2025 with the Brahmasthanam Festival at Kaimanam, Thiruvananthapuram. The entire route from the main road leading to the ashram was illuminated with lamps, as thousands of devotees chanted mantras with joy receiving Amma. Upon reaching the ashram, Amma was welcomed with pūrṇakumbham, and, as has been the tradition for over three decades, she stood on the balcony to shower her blessings upon the gathering—a moment of profound beauty, love, and connection between Amma and her children.
Marking the 33rd anniversary of the Brahmasthanam temple consecration in Kerala’s capital, the two-day festival attracted thousands of devotees seeking Amma’s blessings. The celebrations included special rituals, meditation sessions, bhajans, and Amma’s darshan.
Dignitaries and special guests greeted Amma on stage, while Amma distributed clothing and financial aid to Amritasree self-help group members, uplifting countless families. The Amrita Vidyalayam children delighted the audience with captivating cultural performances.

In her satsang, Amma emphasized the deeper purpose of life:
“Life becomes fulfilled when we come into tune with the infinite. To achieve peace and happiness, we must reduce the weight of our ego and cultivate selflessness.”
She reminded everyone that life is not just a journey or a dream but a process of developing patience and tolerance.
“When humility becomes our natural state, our lives flow like beautiful music, bringing bliss to ourselves and others.”
As the two-day festival came to a close, Amma had ignited the spiritual ember hidden in every heart, inspiring all to walk the path of love and selflessness.
