26 Aug 2024, Amritapuri – Sri Krishna Jayanthi Celebrations
As part of the joyous Sri Krishna Jayanthi celebrations at Amritapuri, a special Go Puja and Nama Sankirtanam were conducted, drawing hundreds of devotees, especially youngsters and children, to the event.
The Go Puja, a traditional worship of the cows, was performed with deep reverence, followed by aarti. The cows were then fed sumptuously with bananas, a gesture of love and gratitude towards these sacred animals.
The celebration was further enlivened by the presence of children dressed in the delightful costumes of Krishna and Radha, adding a touch of charm and innocence to the festivities. The vibrant bhajans filled the air, resonating with love and enthusiasm, as if heralding the divine arrival of Sri Krishna in Vrindavan.
