Six of the 13 wards of Alappad were called
to the Ashram this morning—each family receiving
Rs. 1,000. This money is given with the intention
to buy cooking vessels lost in tsunami. Swami
Amritaswarupananda distributed the allotment
to the first recipient.
As per the Ashram's massive tsunami relief efforts,
it will be distributing a total of 1.5 crores
(Rs. 15,000,000) in this fashion which will help
ten thousand families. |
