Born for Changing the Destiny of the World

Shri. Ashok Singhal, the president of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), came to have Amma's darshan at Her New Delhi ashram.

"Actually, my first feeling of Amma—right from the beginning—was that some great Mahatmas are born for changing the destiny of the world, and She is one. They have come for a purpose. They are not ordinary. They are Parameshwara Himself. They come with a purpose. There must be a person to lead the world in dharma. I believe this is why Amma has come. Amma can give to this world the real meaning of dharma.

"I was so impressed with the ashram [Amritapuri]. Real creation is there. And creation only takes place when the Divine Power is there. Ananda [bliss] is there. Three times I've gone there now, and I've always had a thrilling experience.

" It's like a miracle, like a miracle is taking place. With so many lakhs of people coming every month, is it not a miracle? The power of a single person is very small. This is something much, much more. This is not ordinary. This is tremendous.

"Amma is inspiring people to serve and creating so many avenues for people to serve. But Amma goes further than that.

"If people are coming to Ganga to take bath, they cannot go without being transformed."
