Famous Russian rock star Boris Grebenshikov came for Amma's darshan on the first night of Amma's visit to Thiruvananthapuram. Grebenshikov and his wife were on stage as Amma sang bhajans. Known as a musician who always speaks his mind said, "I enjoyed Amma's music tremendously. It is very healing for the soul"

How did he hear about Amma? "I actually met Amma 14 years ago in New York, but I don't remember much of it. We heard that She was here in Thiruvananthapuram, where we are on holiday. It is wonderful to see Her here. Her darshan is amazing..." He is trying to talk but clearly cannot keep his eyes off of Amma, who is hugging more then 10,000 people every session.

Grebenshikov has been famous in Russia since the eighties when he challenged the pre-Gorbashov regime by making pop-music with critical lyrics. Now he works mainly in the U.S. and tours regularly in Europe with his band Aquarium. He mixes underground rock with modern New Age influences and has made more than 20 albums.
