Amritapuri Ashram is home to more than 3,500 monastic disciples and householders. Amma has created a timetable for Her disciples. The householders and visitors are welcome to follow to the Ashram schedule as well if they like.
Amma gives Darshan for the devotees/visitors on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
4:50 a.m. – 6:00 a.m. Chanting of Lalita Sahasra Nama (Archana)
6:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. Meditation
8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Breakfast
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Seva
12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Lunch
2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Seva
5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Meditation
6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Bhajans
8:15 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Dinner
9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Personal study, Meditation, Diary Keeping
(Various yoga, meditation and scripture classes also take place almost daily. At the Kalari, regular Homas and Pujas are there in the morning, noon and in the evening)
Tuesday is meditation day on which Amma joins the meditating group late in the morning, gives satsang,question & answer session and then serve the lunch as prasad for the residents.
On Monday and Friday Amma usually joins the meditation on the beach at 5:30pm and guides a Question/Answer session before leading the Bhajans in the main auditorium.
